  • Do you see those swatches?
    • Top is a little product spilled out
    • Bottom is blended in
  • It is SO intense
  • Can be used anywhere you would normally use a pigment (pretty much everywhere)
    • As a cheek highlight
    • Inner Corner
    • On top of an eye look
    • Lid
    • etc.
  • A tiny bit goes a long way
    • I wouldn't apply directly to the skin
      • Tap some product out onto back of hand or other surface first
Overall,
This product is crazy extreme in the shimmer department, exactly like the name would suggest. It is a little dry, but it is just a powder with nothing to bind it together. If you like what you see in the swatch, and can still find it--pick it up!

  • Packaging is standard plastic, but it is a more weighted nice plastic
  • There are three even pans of product
    • Hot pink blush
      • Subtle shimmer
      • Very pigmented
      • Takes a bit of work to blend if you apply too much
    • Contour
      • Satin / matte
      • GORGEOUS color
        • Not too warm or cool
      • More of a bronze than contour
    • Highlight
      • Subtle shimmer but shows up satin / matte
      • Too dark to highlight on my skintone
Overall,
I love this trio, if you can still find this limited edition product -- grab it!

Disney Villains Lipsticks | Potion, Dragon's Lair, & Majestic | Review + Swatch

Happy Halloween! Today's review is on the Disney lipsticks for Walgreens. These retail for $3.49 each.

Potion

Dragon's Lair

Majestic
  • All swatches were done in one pass, even the lip ones
  • Very pigmented
  • Not true mattes
    • You can see it's more of a satin or creme
  • Potion and Majestic are very similar
    • You wouldn't need both unless you wanted them for packaging
  • A little pricey considering the powder face products are the same price
  • Feels like a lipstick on the lips
    • Not too waxy
    • A little slippery, not like a matte that sets
    • Wears the way a lipstick usually does, touch up mid day / after eating
Overall,
These are super cute for the packaging, and still pigmented. Other than pigmentation the formula is nothing stellar. Two shades are also very similar, potion might be a touch more berry red. My favorite of the three is Dragon's Lair, because it is the most unique.

Overall,
This is a very pigmented blush that is well worth the money; even if it is more for the packaging than product that you are interested in.

Too Faced X Vegas Nay Stardust Palette | Review + Swatch

I wanted to wait to do this post since the hype has been crazy! I love Vegas Nay on Instagram, and her collaboration is just as perfect as she is. This set retails for $45, and is flying off the shelves fast. Since mine arrived in the mail, I've been using it pretty much everyday!
Comes all boxed up

Actual packaging has magnetic closure

Glamour Dust aka glitter pigment
Star Dust Palette
Top Row
Chandelier, Millennial, Girl's Night
Chandelier is a satin, the other two are total mattes
Second Row
Selfie, Showgirl, Jackpot
First two are shimmer, Jackpot is matte with glitters
Third Row
Pink Pearl, The Strip, Follow Me
All three are cool toned shimmers
Last Row
Double Tap, Golden Nugget, Sin City
Double Tap has shimmers that do not transfer, Golden Nugget is a shimmer, Sin City is a matte

  • Mostly warm tones, does have a row of cool purples
  • Good variety of finishes
  • Golden Nugget is slightly chunky, less smooth
  • All shades blend and apply amazingly
  • Wear all day over a primer
  • Standard Too Faced Formula
  • The eyeshadow primer is nothing too unique, very thin
  • The BTS mascara is not my favorite, but it does give good volume
  • The Eye Dust isn't just a glitter, mostly a very shimmery loose pigment
Overall,
If you can still find this palette near you, get it! The shadows are amazing, and the added minis make it a nice value as well. Packaging is super cute, as always with too faced. The palette itself is nice and thin for storage. Quality is worthy of an A!

*I did not purchase this myself, I won it in a giveaway*

Looxi Beauty November Rain | Limited Edition Fall Eyeshadow | Review + Swatch

Supposedly the last day to order this limited edition shadow is today, so I wanted to get up my review with swatches. This is a fantastic duo chrome eyeshadow by Looxi Beauty, and it retails for only $5 in the pan.
Slightly smaller than the traditional pan shadow, but only in depth
Swatch of November Rain
Swatch in all it's glory
  • Texture: Very silky smooth
  • Application: Pigmented right off the bat
  • Duo chrome yes this plays a role in how much I love a shadow
  • Wears all day like most shadows, especially with a primer
  • Slightly more purple and less blue than in the pan
Overall,
GOOO snatch up this shadow before it's gone! I love anything duo chrome, and this is definitely one you do not want to miss. Also, it is a dupe for an Urban Decay eyeshadow ;)
