Sephora Pink Souffle Cream Lip Stain: Review & Swatches

This liquid lipstick / stain is only $13! This was the first color in this line I purchased, and since buying this one I've bought two others.
06 Pink Souffle
0.169 fl oz
Doe-foot applicator

Review:
  • Wears a full work/school day amount of time (~8 hours)
    • After that there is only a stain and no creamy feel on the lips
    • Slight sheen/ shimmer left behind, but no glitter in the product
  • Does not dry lips out
    • Cream finish, not like a traditional liquid lipstick
  • Slight vanilla scent
  • Applies easily
    • Opaque in one layer, can do two
Overall:
Love this Lip Stain! The line has many colors to choose from, but this pink is a classic! If you apply it over a lip liner, then you can adjust the color. Since it is also a liquid, it is mixable. Wears all day long!

Colourpop Stole the Show Super Shock Cheek: Review & Swatches

Highlighters, highlighters, highlighters! They seem to be everywhere now, but the Colourpop formula is by far the most unique! Today I will be reviewing Stole the Show, it's an $8 creamy pale highlight.
Super Shock Cheek
4.2g of product
List of ingredients,
mainly dimethicone,
Vegan,
Cruelty Free
Keep them closed tight or else will dry up
Pearlized Finish
With Flash
No Flash
Close-up, with flash to show the glow

No flash, with flash

  • Bouncy texture
    • Smoother and more cream like than the shadows
  • Blends easily into the skin
    • Best with finger or beauty blender type sponge
  • Can be applied lightly for a more natural look, or amped up
  • No glitter particles, but lots of shimmer
  • Can be topped with a powder highlight for even more intensity
    • Or worn alone (same lasting power)
  • Best applied before setting the face, but can be applied after
Overall,
The formula is amazing, and the color will suit from the lightest of skintones to medium. If you have darker skin it may be a touch ashy, but it is not a cool undertone so you may be okay. Unique color, not just a stark white. The formula is consistent with the others, so I say either pick this one up or browse the website for a different one that might suit you better.

Colourpop Chi Chi Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencil: Review & Swatches

I'm keeping the colourpop posts coming at you! Today is a lip combo and review on Chi Chi. Most brands don't offer a true true orange in their line, and if they do then it rarely is a lip liner. The lip liner is only $5, as is the lipstick.
Colourpop Lippie Pencil in Chi Chi
 Packaged in plastic, not wood.
Sharpen on your own after it wears down.
Colourpop Lippie Stix in Chi Chi
 Matte Finish
 Twist up.

Top: Lippie pencil, much more matte
Bottom: Lippie Pencil, a bit more moisture
Looks like more of a true orange on the lips than in a swatch.
Just the lippie pencil, very full coverage and creamy
 lip combo
Review:

  • Lippie Pencil
    • So impressed with this!
    • Glides on with opacity
    • First true orange lip pencil, especially at an affordable price, that I've found
    • Wears well, but I would top it with something since it is a little drying on it's own
    • If you want an orange, but not super bright or intense, try this lip liner topped with a more peach lipstick
  • Lippie Stix
    • Exact same color as liner, maybe a touch lighter
    • With the lip liner it's an unbeatable orange combination, that lasts alll day long
      • On it's own doesn't last quite as long
    • Make sure to exfoliate lips before, the brightness does reveal any dryness
Overall:
This lip liner exceeds my expectations, if you like or want to try orange--get it! The lippie stix is a somewhat standard, true orange. If you do not own an orange lipstick, this is a good one. However, if you already have a few orange lipsticks, and tend not to wear them often; you do not need this one.

Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows(full collection): Swatches + Review

I was fortunate enough to receive a package from Milani containing all their Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadows(starts as 'gel' formula then changed into a powder). Just because they sent them to me does not mean this is sponsored. This range has 30 colors from matte to metallic. They retail for around $4.

01 Bella Ivory- Satin Matte- Has some shimmers in it, slightly pink toned white
02 Bella Sand- Shimmer- Light tan (sand), shimmery but not intense
03 Bella Cappuccino- Satin Matte-  Little to no shimmer, light brown

04 Bella Caffe- Satin Matte-Little to no shimmer, light golden brown (almost blends away)
05 Bella Taupe-Satin Matte- Some shimmer, cool dark brown
06 Bella Espresso- Satin Matte- Has a sheen to it, dark neutral brown

07 Bella White- Satin Matte- Pure true white, little to no shimmer
08 Bella Sky- Shimmer- Semi sheer, baby blue
09- Bella Navy- Satin Matte- Satin not matte at all, buildable, true blue navy

10 Bella Gray- Satin Matte- Satin not matte, semi sheer
11 Bella Charcoal- Shimmer- Smoky charcoal, intense
12 Bella Black- Satin Matte- Matte, slightly patchy

13 Bella Pink- Shimmer- Cool toned slightly purple, sheer
14 Bella Violet- Shimmer- More like satin, semi sheer
15 Bella Purple- Satin Matte- Dark eggplant purple

16 Bella Champagne- Shimmer- Pink with a hint of an orange undertone
17 Bella Khaki- Shimmer- Slightly golden green
18 Bella Emerald- Shimmer- Darker version of khaki without as much gold, intense
19 Bella Rouge- Metallic- Bright pinky-red, semi sheer but buildable
20 Bella Silver- Metallic- true silver, slightly powdery but good pigmentation
21 Bella Teal- Metallic- Bright teal blue, semi sheer but buildable

22 Bella Gold- Metallic- Intense slightly orangey gold
23 Bella Copper- Metallic- Not chunky but it is a bit powdery, intense
24 Bella Bronze- Metallic- Less metallic than the others, but intense pigmentation

25 Bella Cobalt- Satin Matte- Metallic not matte, intense
26 Bella Fuchsia- Satin Matte- Bright pink, slightly purple, sheer but buildable
27 Bella Mandarin- Satin Matte- Unique matte orange, good pigmentation

28 Bella Chiffon- Highlighter/Shimmer- Intense shimmery yellowy-white, perfect inner corner color
29 Bella Rose- Highlighter/Shimmer- Intense light pink with almost silvery reflects
30 Bella Diamond- Highlighter/Shimmer- Sheer white with a sheen, least pigmented
Review:
  • All have a very smooth texture
  • Only a few shades are completely matte
    • Even the ones labeled matte have a more satiny finish
  • Some shades are more sheer but all can be built up, or used with an intensifier like Mac Fix+
  • I like to use some of the shadows multiple ways
    • Bella Chiffon (and other light shimmery shades) = stunning facial highlight
    • Matte browns = bronzer/contour shades
    • Bella White = satin matte power/highlight for pale skin
  • None of the shades were swatched with primer!
    • These are true to formula, and as true to color as possible
Overall:

I think these make great beginner shadows since they are buildable and blendable. For non-beginners to makeup there are still some really unique colors (Bella Mandarin for example). My favorite category in these shadows is metallic since they are the most pigmented. Most of you have probably picked at least one of these up, if not go browse your local store that sells Milani and see the gorgeous shades for yourself.
