I' m reviewing another Maybelline color tatoo today. I've already
posted about Inked in pink, and barely branded. Here is the shade Bold Gold. These run for about $5-6 at your local drugstore or Walmart.
Like I said my newest one is in Bold Gold.
You are supposed to store them upside-down to keep them creamy longer and it shows the color not the name.
I find that this is a true gold. Not too green, orange, or yellow. It is just a gold.
When you swirl your finger in it does contain some larger bits of pigment but that is because it is so pigmented and creamy.
When sheered out and blended it makes a lovely light gold base that holds eyeshadow well and adds a hint of golden shine. The effect reminds me of UD primer potion in greed.
- Same lasting power
- Great eyeshadow base or alone
- Blends out sheer
- Works best under metallic or shimmery shades
- Check out my other reviews on two other shades
- I will continue buying these cream shadows, since they are my favorite for price and quality
